Now, first things first. It’s important to include the basic information about your local business in your LinkedIn company page. This allows those who view the page to better understand what your company is all about. It’s very easy to do. All you have to do is go to the ‘Admin tools’ dropdown bar and click on ‘Edit.’ Once you click there, LinkedIn will allow you to add your local business information.

Showcase and Promote Your Local Business Products and Services.
After adding your local business’s basic (and complete) information through LinkedIn, it’s time to start showcasing your company’s products. All you have to do is click on ‘Admin tools’ like you did when editing the basic information, and then click on ‘Add a product or service.’ Follow the step-by-step instructions LinkedIn gives you so you can showcase the products or any services your local business offers.

Also under the ‘Admin tools’ drop down menu is the option ‘Promote my products & services.’ What could be better than this LinkedIn allowing you to not only showcase your products, but promote them as well? Once you click on the ‘Promote my products & services’ option, you will have four easy steps to complete. If you aren’t quite sure what to do or what this feature does, LinkedIn has also added a ‘Common Questions’ box which will appear on the right side of the page, giving you a better understanding of where your ads will appear, what all can be added to the ads, etc.

You Can Use LinkedIn to Post Jobs!
Once you have the basic information about your company added, and you’ve conquered showcasing and promoting your products and services, consider posting any job openings you may have. You can do this by going to the ‘Careers’ tab. Even if you already have posted the job opening elsewhere, this will allow those who use LinkedIn to view the opening. Plus, the more places you have the job opening posted, the more variety of people you’ll have apply. You may find your next best employee this way.

Don’t Forget About LinkedIn’s Analytic Tools
